om te doen in hun eigen taal
dus ik denk tegenwoordig
omdat je heel veel dingen ook online kan doen
zijn mensen wat minder
ja ze vinden het minder fijn om te bellen ook
ja dus ik weet niet heb jij dat ook
Bel je makkelijk of
ja nou ik heb wel een beetje een drempel om te bellen
omdat het vaak
ja of ik versta ze niet goed of ze zijn druk bezig
vooral als je een restaurant
belt hoor je heel veel achtergrondgeluid

probeer ik altijd online wel een afspraak te maken

probeer ik het wel online te doen
omdat dat ook makkelijk is door alle tijden

en dat is een net wat anders dan een restaurant
waar je zelf meer controle
hebt over hoe laat je ergens wil
naartoe wil gaan
en bij de kapper is het wel vaak dat het vol zit
en je moet kijken wat er mogelijk is
ik weet niet of dat bij jou ook is bij de kapper
ja ik heb een kapper om de hoek hier en dat is
een kapper zonder afspraak
dus oh ja het is een wat oudere man
en ik denk dat hij niet zo van
technologie houdt
of ja ook ook überhaupt niet van een afspraak maken
via de telefoon
dus daar moet je gewoon langskomen en hopen dat er
ja plek is voor je en anders
moet je wachten
maar het is een een heren
kapsalon dus ja
meestal duurt het voor
mannen niet zo lang om geknipt te worden
omdat ja ze verven meestal niet hun haar of
het is meestal gewoon een beetje bijknippen
of misschien zelfs scheren
dus dat gaat redelijk snel
ja maar ja voor mij
als ik thuis ben en thuis werk dan
loop ik langs de kapsalon
als ik zie dat er een iemand in de stoel zit
en misschien een iemand wacht nog
dan ga ik weer verder werken en kom ik later
een uurtje of 2 uur later weer terug om te kijken
of er misschien niemand is
dus dat is mijn manier
maar ja anders moet je natuurlijk een afspraak maken
ja dus ja ja ik zit meestal wel
2 en 1/2 uur of 3 uur bij de kapper
als ik ga 2 en 1/2 uur
ja dan met een lange wachttijd om het in te laten trekken
maskertjes en behandelingen
ja als ik dat is 2 keer per jaar dan ook en
we hebben ook een thuiskapper
de vriend een vriendin van mijn moeder
om alleen mijn haar te knippen
en dat is wel fijn daar hoef ik
niet zelf een afspraak te maken
maar dan ga ik langs bij mijn ouders
als zij langskomt
oh ja maar als ik echt naar de kapper de kapsalon ga
dan Uhm
moet ik echt een goede afspraak maken om en goed plannen
en hoe vaak ga je
ja
meestal 2 keer per jaar dan een een behandeling en Uhm
dan doe ik knippen en verven
en dan ook 2 keer per jaar
daarnaast nog alleen knippen
ja de puntjes knippen noemen we dat dan
dan maken ze het gewoon recht
ja aan de onderkant en dan de dode puntjes eraf
uh
en model knippen doe ik laatste tijd niet zo vaak
dat vertrouw ik niet altijd
en ik ben blij met hoe het nu is en
maar ik kan me voorstellen dat het voor jou een ander
beetje anders werkt
dat je niet je haar verft of
een ander model steeds doet of hoe hoe
wat vraag jij aan de kapper

hetzelfde maar dan wat korter Uhm
dus soms laat ik een foto zien maar eigenlijk
van hoe mijn
kapsel was precies hoe die daarvoor was geknipt
ja dus ik ben een beetje een gewoonte diertje en ja
eerder eerder voor mij is het meer iets wat echt moet
van het liefst zou ik
ja nooit naar de kapper
dan ga ik nooit naar de kapper
maar ja dat zo werkt het niet helaas

ik heb ook een tijdje lang haar gehad
en dat was een stuk makkelijker
want dan hoef je niet naar
nou ik ging niet naar de kapper
misschien voor een jaar of zo
maar ja nu ga ik
denk ik een keer per 3 of 4 maanden
en dan vraag ik eigenlijk altijd hetzelfde
dus doe maar iets korter
en dan ook ongeschoren aan de zijkanten
want anders gaan ze met
het scheerapparaat
je de zijkanten ook afscheren
en dat vind ik ja niet zo mooi
dus dat is het enige eigenlijk
dat zijn mijn instructies meestal
en doe je ook zelf knippen of scheren dan
of is het echt alleen maar daar bij de kapsalon
ja zodra ik
kaal begint te worden

ga ik het zelf doen en dan zou ik gewoon mijn hoofd
scheren maar ja ik heb nog haar dus ja
het lijkt erop dat dat misschien niet gaat gebeuren
ik denk voor veel mensen begint dat een beetje rond de 30

en dan heeft hij ook veel kappers afspraken gehad
en hoe lang duurt een kappers afspraak bij jou gemiddeld

dus dat vind ik ook fijn aan mijn kapper
nu het is meestal ja maximaal 20 minuten
misschien ja misschien zelfs een kwartier soms ja
en ja hoe korter hoe beter voor mij dus
maar het moet natuurlijk wel een beetje oké zitten
alleen 2 en 1/2 uur bij een kapsalon zitten ja
dat doe ik niet eens in een jaar
zeg maar in 2 jaar
misschien is het 2 en 1/2 uur in totaal

ja en ik was dus laatst daar 2 weken geleden denk ik
en toen stond er heel groot op de muur in een poster
wij willen gezellig met jou kletsen
maar dat hoeft niet

dus het was een soort signaal van je mag met ons praten
maar het hoeft niet en dat vond ik heel fijn
want ik had geen zin om 2 en 1/2 uur te praten
terwijl ik al op een
terwijl ik al heel de dag had gepraat
dus dat gaf me heel veel rust
om daar gewoon lekker te zitten
en dan wordt je haar gewassen
en dan kan je een beetje ontspannen met een tijdschrift
en een boekje ja maar als je 20 minuten
met iemand of een afspraak hebt
kan ik me voorstellen
dat je wel een gesprekje met iemand aangaat

of ik er wordt iets leuks aan mij gevraagd dan
vind ik het leuk om veel te praten

wat standaard dingetjes dat
daar heb ik niet zo behoefte aan daar
dus ik kan
nee geen koetjes en kalfjes precies ja small talk
nou dus ik ik kan prima in
in de stilte ook daar zitten
dus ik denk ook
meeste kappers vinden dat misschien wel fijn
als er niet
teveel gepraat wordt

ik heb hier een krantenbericht van een kapper in Antwerpen
en die geeft korting aan klanten die zwijgen
die stil zijn tijdens het knippen
volgens mij 10% of zo krijg je korting
als je dus niks zegt
en de reden daarvoor was dat
ze continu tijdens elke knipbeurt het hele verhaal
levensverhaal van haar
die klanten
moest aanhoren en daar natuurlijk op moet reageren
en ze was daardoor in een burnout gekomen
ja
dus ik denk dat het voor haar heel veel
heel veel was om van iedereen het verhaal te horen
en dan kan ik me wel voorstellen denk ik
maar toch
het is ook soms leuk om gewoon een gesprekje te hebben
inderdaad en wat
nieuws te leren over iemand
en ik vind het ook leuk om in een multi culty
kapper te zijn in een kapsalon
want dan hoor je altijd verschillende verhalen
van iedereen en heel veel verschillende talen
en
ja maar het is altijd leuk
en ik probeer ook de going Dutch
thema's van de week
gewoon aan te snijden en te gebruiken
als ik inderdaad even niet weet
en ik heb zin om te praten
dan denk ik gewoon
ah heb jij zin in koffie of Hou jij van koffie
of dan gebruik ik een thema van going Dutch
ja om een gesprekje te hebben
ja ja wat zijn wat zijn dingen waar
wat zijn vragen die mensen kunnen stellen bij de kapper
want ik denk ja als Nederlander
als je naar een Nederlandse kapper gaat
ja je kan
zelf wel bedenken waar je over gaat praten natuurlijk
maar als je als
als je bij een in het buitenland naar de kapper gaat
of als internationale
hier naar de kapper
kan het misschien een beetje intimiderend zijn
maar en aan de andere kant het is ook de perfecte plek
om te oefenen met spreken denk ik
ja want jullie kunnen allebei nergens heen
je zit daar je kan de tijd nemen
om je antwoorden te bedenken en te geven

waar start je
ja ik denk dat het heel belangrijk is om het
ijs op de juiste manier te breken
en te zeggen dat je dus nieuw bent
of dat je Nederlands leert
en dat je graag een in het
gesprek wil hebben in het Nederlands
dan zet je eigenlijk al de toon van het gesprek op
ik wil je leren kennen op een luchtige manier en ik wil
over iets van jouw leven weten of van jouw
leven als kapper
en dan iets over jezelf vertellen
ik denk dat dat
helpt en dat ik dat ook heb toegepast
misschien in het buitenland
en daardoor ook veel van de taal heb geleerd dus
en als je het
gewoon binnen loopt en al doet alsof je al Nederlands
spreekt en het gesprek loopt
dan niet dan ga je vaker terug in de stilte
maar als je al begint met
hé ik ben Nederlands aan het leren
het lijkt me leuk om een beetje Nederlands te praten
denk ik dat de kapper daar ook heel enthousiast
van wordt ja Uhm
dat dat heb ik
het idee dus dat zou een manier zijn om
voordat je echt een gesprek begint
het even aan te geven
ja van hé ik dat doe ik op dit moment ja waar
waar ben je allemaal naar de kapper geweest
in welke landen
ja ja
nou
eigenlijk vooral naar andere salons waar ik vaak ga
dus voor de nagels of voor de
massage salons
daar ging ik vaak naartoe voor een afspraak om
daar heb ik heel veel gesprekjes gehad
maar de kapper vond ik ook altijd wel een lastige kwestie
maar ik denk in Turkije in Indonesië
en in Thailand misschien ook
maar dan is het gewoon het gebruik van een foto
het handigst
werken om je haar te laten zien en dat was
minder makkelijk
omdat ik daar niet de taal aan het leren was
ja maar in de in spaantalige landen of in Indonesië
probeerde ik het dan wel
en leerde ik ook heel veel daarvan
omdat ze heel graag met je kletsen
ja tijdens zo'n afspraak
precies ja ik heb het ook veel gehad niet bij
kappers afspraken of andere afspraken
maar ja met met taxis
dus oh ja Uber bijvoorbeeld in Brazilië heb ik
die best vaak gebruikt
omdat ik ja ik moest naar een locatie toe regelmatig
en dat ging lastig op een andere manier
dus dat moest veel met de Uber
en dat was eigenlijk steeds een soort van kwartier
lesje voor mij
ja ja want zeker
de ene taxi taxi bestuurder is niet heel spraakzaam
maar de meeste wel
heel erg
dus het is altijd een goed moment om even te oefenen
het is meestal niet de makkelijkste
een plek als in
ja ze passen hun snelheid van spreken niet aan
dus het is
full speed meestal
ja maar wel ja gewoon een leuk extra
mini lesje zeg maar
ja vind ik ook
dat is ook een
leuke manier om een taal te leren gebruiken op
om om de spot zeg maar op dat moment
ik zag trouwens ook dat je nu in de Uber app
kunt aangeven
of je wil praten of niet tijdens de rit
dus dat zijn weer van die dingen van oké
gaan we hier een gesprek aanknopen
hebben wij er allebei zin in maar vaak
vaak kan je wel met iemand daarover
ergens over praten
ja ja precies
ja en een een paar andere locaties waar ik dat heb gehad
was
in het ziekenhuis dus ik kom wel eens in het ziekenhuis
meestal omdat ik mijn hoofd stoot of
mijn voet stoot of er gebeurt iets ik heb een beetje
lange ledematen en een lang lichaam
meestal stoot ik wel iets
in in Brazilië had ik een mijn
surfplank op mijn hoofd gekregen
oh wauw
een gat in mijn hoofd en ik moest naar het ziekenhuis
om deze te laten hechten
en ja daar was ook een soort student
aan het werk en die
moest ging mij helpen
en die kreeg wat instructies ook van de andere persoon
maar ja ze vroegen ja gaat alles goed
er kwam wel wat bloed uit en zo
en ik voelde me prima
maar ja het ging niet heel soepel
dus het duurde een beetje lang en hij zat echt te graven
in mijn hoofd zo voelde het
ik heb ook een beetje met hun in het Portugees
gepraat en zo
maar terwijl iemand je hoofd
wat aan het hechten is is dat toch iets
gaat dat iets minder soepel
dus op een gegeven moment ben ik
gestopt met praten ook
en ja even even focussen
ja precies ja
ja veel van onze studenten
vertellen dat ze graag wanneer ze naar hun
naar Duitsland gaan op vakantie of naar familie
dat ze dan graag alle afspraken doen
in een periode dus ze gaan naar de tandarts
de kapper andere
praktijken
omdat het fijner
is om toch in je eigen taal
te kunnen communiceren over deze dingen
maar in jouw geval was het natuurlijk een
spoed situatie als je een surfboard op je hoofd krijgt
ja precies niet echte keuze nee
ja ik ben ook
benieuwd of mensen veel
überhaupt afspraken maken in het Nederlands
of ze ook
bellen in het Nederlands
en ja of ze ook
graag naar de kapper gaan hier en een beetje
een het gesprek aanknopen ook
dus dat kunnen mensen delen in de comments
heb jij nog een afspraak op de planning
ja kappers afspraak
ik heb alleen een afspraak om een kapsalon te gaan eten
dit weekend
een Rotterdamse kapsalon
voor degene die die kennen
de Koning willem Alexander
heeft hem laatst ook geprobeerd
weer in Rotterdam
maar ik de
ik eet het niet vaak maar ik vind het wel heel lekker
de hmm het hap
ja het is niet het meest gezonde wat je kan eten
maar af en toe is het wel lekker ja
en jij ja misschien in een van de volgende podcasts
afleveringen zal je mij met korter haar weer zien
want het begint een beetje lang te worden
dus het wordt geen afspraak maken
maar gewoon even langs lopen
dus ja dat zal binnenkort gebeuren
