wat wat vind jij typisch Nederlands
typisch Nederland
hmm ik
denk vooral aan kaas eigenlijk
en ook voor mijzelf is kaas
iets wat onmisbaar is in mijn koelkast
dus dat associeer ik met mijzelf
en Nederland
en
en ook een boterham met kaas en een boterham met hagelslag
vooral zijn dingen die ik
heel lekker vind en voor mezelf daarom aan
aan Nederland doen denken
maar ik denk ook
fietsen de fiets
het gebruik van de fiets is heel Nederlands
en dat is
natuurlijk iets wat in alle landen wel te vinden is
maar in Nederland zijn er natuurlijk meer fietsen
dan mensen en
en wat het heel
Nederlands maakt en voor jou
ik weet dat jij ook van fietsen houdt
is het voor jou ook echt waar je aan denkt
als je aan Nederland denkt
ja 2 2 dingen denk ik dus
klagen over het weer of praten over het weer
nou het is een beetje een universeel ding denk ik
veel mensen doen dat
maar het weer verandert vaak in Nederland

of het keihard aan het regenen is of dat het
35 graden is en heel heet
Nederlanders zullen altijd op de fiets blijven springen

ja het weer in Nederland is ook niet voorspelbaar
en de seizoenen
kunnen alle kanten opgaan
en inderdaad dat is ook de reden dat
dat we er veel over kunnen praten
ja en heb je vandaag al gefietst

heb ik een paar lessen en daarna ga ik zeker fietsen

bijna geen dag in mijn leven dat ik niet fiets

langere tijd geen fiets
mijn fiets was gestolen

is het eigenlijk de fiets van mijn zusje gestolen
en heb ik mijn fiets aan mijn zusje gedoneerd
en nu deel ik de fiets met mijn man
alleen we gebruiken hem niet zoveel
hij staat nu in de kelder
en de banden moeten nog worden opgepompt
maar als ik hem dan helemaal heb
opgefrist dan gebruik ik hem ook meteen vaker
en de reden dat ik dus ook minder fiets
is omdat ik ook bang ben dat hij wordt gestolen
dus op die manier zet ik hem niet graag buiten en
en dan moet ik hem dus elke keer naar de kelder
ja in de kelder verstoppen en daar weer uithalen
en dan ga ik toch graag ook wandelend naar
De dingen waar ik naartoe ga
omdat alles vrij dichtbij is
vind ik wandelen ook wel heel fijn
maar zoals ik zei
als de fiets dan eenmaal wel gepakt is en
ik hem voor de deur heb staan
Pak ik hem ook sneller denk ik
ja maar
het is een een dure fiets
ja nou het is een postcode loterij fiets
zo'n ja ik weet niet of je die vaker hebt gezien
met
wit en oranje en groen volgens mij
en hij is ooit dan gewonnen
en dus waarschijnlijk
zal niemand hem misschien snel stelen
maar hij fietst heel fijn
en hij heeft van die hoge een hoog stuur
dus op zich met een goede fietstas
kan je hem wel goed gebruiken in de stad
maar ik pak toch sneller de step
het stepje of wandelen ga ik ja
op op pad ja ja het is een limited edition fiets
dus misschien daarom
dat hij over een aantal jaar veel geld waard is
ja precies daarom we bewaren hem wel
ja en jij hoe ziet jouw fiets eruit
ik heb 2 fietsen
ik heb een mountainbike
die ja wat sneller kan fietsen ook
die ik ook gebruik als ik
buiten de stad voor een stukje ga fietsen
en ik heb ook een meer een stadsfiets
maar ja deze staat altijd buiten
omdat er geen plek is in de schuur
en deze is langzaam aan het vervallen en
uit elkaar aan het vallen
dus ja dit is meer een stationsfiets ik denk deze
transformeert
dag na dag in een steeds meer in een stationsfiets
dus deze gebruik ik niet zo vaak wat is dat dan
wat is een stationsfiets
ja gewoon een kutfiets
die je die je lekker daar kan laten staan
omdat niemand hem zal stelen
van als deze fiets gestolen wordt dan is het
ja ah ja vervelend
maar het doet je niet pijn
ja maar aan de andere kant
het is ook een fiets die niet snel gestolen zou worden
omdat de fiets niet echt waarde heeft
dus iemand kan moeite doen ervoor en dan misschien โฌ30
ervoor krijgen zeg maar ja
is ook een mooie uitdrukking toch
het mag maar gestolen worden als het jou niet
als je het niks uitmaakt
of als je er geen belangrijke waarde aan hecht
dan kun je zeggen in het Nederlands
het kan me gestolen worden
ja en dat is voor jou de jouw
stationsfiets aan het worden
precies maar niet mijn andere fiets die
nee kan me niet gestolen worden

helemaal kapot was dat was een roze oma fiets
dat daar daar was ik heel trots op

is zo'n ja eigenlijk wel een standaard
Nederlandse fiets denk ik die je veel ziet
het is een vrij comfortabele fiets

is ook misschien de reden dat het een oma fiets heet
maar heb jij een idee waarom heet het een oma fiets
ja je ziet tegenwoordig geen oma's op oma fietsen
het zijn vooral
ik denk vooral scholieren
want ik kan me ook herinneren toen ik een4 was of zo
was dit was dit ook een populaire fiets
om te hebben
een coole fiets om te hebben een omafiets
ja ik vind ze vreselijk
ik fiets er helemaal niet lekker op
ook omdat je achteruit moet
ja remmen achteruit moet trappen om te remmen
oh trappen ja ja en je hebt geen
je hebt geen remmen
aan je stuur
dus ja
maar op zich het zit wel lekker rechtop dus het is
comfortabel
voor de oma denk ik

de meeste oma's zullen nu op elektrische fietsen

dus dat is de nieuwe term voor oma fiets
ja maar ik weet niet wat
wat is de andere reden waarom het
een oma fiets heet
ja ja zoals je net zei
het heeft dus helemaal niet de functies van een echte
fiets met versnellingen
of een de standaard is ook heel anders opgezet
maar het gaat erom dat er
vroeger fietsen waren gemaakt
maar daar konden vrouwen niet makkelijk op fietsen
omdat vrouwen
alleen maar rokken droegen
of jurkjes
en het fietsen met een jurk is niet zo fijn op een op
een mountainbike denk ik
maar een oma fiets die heeft genoeg ruimte om de rok
netjes omlaag te houden en
makkelijk op te fietsen
maar inderdaad
het is vooral de comfortabelheid daarom dat het die
dat formaat heeft
en ook in andere landen wordt het volgens mij
wordt deze fiets de Dutch bike genoemd
maar er zijn natuurlijk superveel andere fietsen
en dat
dat dat stukje achteruit trappen om te kunnen remmen
is ook iets wat je echt moet weten
want als je dat verkeerd doet dan en het regent
dan
want volgens mij remt dan alleen je achterband toch
ja
en bij andere normale fietsen kan je allebei remmen
de voorband en de achterband
en overigens werkt het ook zo met de ov fiets van NS
dus als je een keer een NS
fiets huurt of leent bij het station
dan moet je opletten dat je achteruit kan remmen
met die fiets
ja heb doe jij dat trouwens wel eens
een fiets huren op het station
een echte stationsfiets
ja ja af en toe
ik neem vaker mijn eigen fiets mee ja
maar als ik bijvoorbeeld naar een stad
ga en alleen door de stad wil fietsen
dan huur ik een NS fiets ook
ja lief
liever dan ja als je bijvoorbeeld op meerdere plekken
heb afgesproken in een stad met iemand
dan kan je de tram pakken of lopen
misschien als het een wat grotere
stad is als Rotterdam of Den Haag
het duurt een beetje lang
en een NS fiets is dan praktisch denk ik zeker
ja en het is heel makkelijk te regelen
en ook niet zo duur volgens mij

remmen aan je stuur en niet alleen maar achteruit
trappen remmen
maar ik weet het niet zeker
je hebt ook verschillende
ja edities daarvan
je hebt ook de elektrische fiets natuurlijk en
wat je ook veel ziet is dat

ja mensen die eten bezorgen
een Swapfiets abonnement hebben
voor een elektrische fiets
en die gebruiken voor hun werk dus
dus ja die zie je ook veel denk ik
ja ja inderdaad die zie je ook steeds meer nu
die elektrische fietsen gaan echt zo hard ook
en overal
ja het lijkt me ook wel praktisch denk ik
als je iets moet bezorgen
ja je moet kiezen tussen een scooter of een
auto of een fiets
dan is dat best wel goed

ja over elektrische fietsen gesproken ik denk
in Rotterdam zal het hetzelfde zijn maar in Amsterdam
heb je heel veel elektrische fietsen
en ja het is praktisch voor de mensen
heel veel mensen gebruiken het om naar hun werk te gaan
zodat je ook niet helemaal bezweet
aankomt van de inspanning
en als je van Noord naar Zuid moet zeg maar
maar ja
vaak gaan mensen wel heel hard ook met deze fietsen en
en het is soms een beetje een gekke huis
op het fietspad
omdat iedereen
ja de ene gaat 2 keer zo hard als de ander
en sommige mensen letten niet heel goed op
of die komen net het pad
fietspad op en kijken niet goed of zo dus
ja ik zie steeds vaker
ja niet echt ongelukken gebeuren maar
zeker frustraties tussen mensen op de fiets
dus ja het is een beetje
een beetje gek soms
ja ik vind het heel gevaarlijk
en ik voel me niet echt veilig
als ik tussen zo een hele groep
in de file staan dan denk ik ah ik ga
ik ga wel een uurtje later of ik
doe het wel op een andere manier

je leert er wel mee omgaan denk ik als je
als je het vaker doet
maar hetzelfde met de auto het is echt een file
op hoop bij het stoplicht

het voelt veiliger als ik mee ga met het tempo

ik heb ook het idee dat als je veel fietst
of een echte fietser bent in de stad
dat je ook veel door rood stop
door rood licht moet fietsen om met het tempo
mee te blijven gaan
en dat daar Hou ik echt niet van dat doe ik nooit
dus dan zou dat gaat al vaak fout
dat ik denk
ik weet niet of ik moet doorrijden of moet stoppen
en dan denk ik okรฉ laat maar

dus als het stoplicht rood is en niet groen
ja en voor jou wat is dat
ik maak een grapje
ja ik snap hem ik zie ik zie het nooit
nee dat is je gaat zo snel dat je het niet ziet

dat zou ik al niet kunnen dus dat gaat al voor mij

licht is gefietst doe het niet nee
die hoor je hier zo vaak inderdaad
ik vraag me altijd af wat zal het zijn
maar het zal best wel veel met
ongelukken in het verkeer zijn

en ja ik weet niet dit is altijd een thema in mijn leven
nu zorg ik dat ik altijd fietslichten heb

en dan vergeet steeds om eentje te kopen

de supermarkt is dicht en denk je

ik ben er wel aangehouden omdat mijn licht
mijn achterlicht niet werkte
maar toen kreeg ik gelukkig geen boete
met het idee van als je maakt
het was een waarschuwing laat ik het zo zeggen
maar dat was ook zo
een situatie dat ze op een punt gingen staan
waar alle scholieren langs fietsten
en dan konden ze gewoon 10 mensen tegelijk aanhouden
dus dan werden volgens mij niet iedereen beboet
ja hm ja wel een interessante anekdote over
aangehouden worden door de politie
want voor de afgelopen zomerschool
op Texel
hadden we
fietsen gehuurd
en we hebben best veel gefietst op het eiland
en ja we waren een dag ook naar
de zeehonden om daar een kleine excursie te doen
en ja op de weg terug
zag ik ineens ik fietste een beetje achteraan
ik zag ineens een politieauto
naar voren rijden
en een van de studenten aanhouden
en
nou ik ging even even kijken wat er aan de hand was
en zij was dus in het Nederlands

haar ze is zelf aan het verontschuldigen
wat bleek dat zij
iemand van d'r familie aan het bellen was
op de fiets dus ja dat is ook denk ik
tegenwoordig een soort van
veel voorkomende
manier waarop je wordt aangehouden
is als je op je telefoon zit
niet letterlijk op je telefoon zitten
maar dat is hoe je dat kan zeggen als je je telefoon

zagen we de politieauto ergens staan te wachten
dus dit is een tactiek die ze vaak doen
ook met fietslicht
ze zeggen stap af of gebruik je telefoon niet
als je daarna nog een keer zien met
zonder licht of met je telefoon
dan krijg je de boete wel
ah dus ze waren echt nog wel aan het kijken of het
nog een keer zou gebeuren
oh ja ja
ja het is een waarschuwing die dan wel moet ja
moet werken dus ik denk dat het wel
goed werkt zo dan
en ja in Texel hebben we heel
hebben jullie heel veel gefietst
ik heb gekeken hoe jullie op de fiets stapten
maar volgens mij
weet je nog hoeveel kilometer op een dag
25km volgens mij ja zoiets
ja ja ja het was echt wel een fietsen
weekend erbij was wel heel leuk
ja en de volgende keer doe ik mee met de tandem fiets
ja ja de dubbele fiets
dan het is beter om
achter te zitten denk ik
dan kan je het doen alsof je fietst
en de persoon voor die

ja een fiets hebben betekent ook vaak een fiets repareren
want een fiets gaat
gaat vaak kapot of er moeten
onderdelen vervangen worden of je band gaat lek

vroeger ging ik altijd naar mijn opa
en dat heeft daarna mijn moeder overgenomen

nodig gehad dat ik mijn fiets moest laten repareren
maar ik heb het nooit zelf gedaan
dat vind ik best wel erg want het is wel iets

ik denk wat fijn is is als je de ruimte hebt de
de tijd en
goed gereedschap ook om ja je je fiets te fixen
maar ja bijvoorbeeld een een band plakken dat
doe ik nu wel vaak dus dat gaat wel makkelijk
ja zeker ook met een mountainbike
als het vooral als het je je voorwiel is
het is best wel makkelijk om die
om het hele wiel eruit te trekken
dus ja dat gaat redelijk simpel
maar ik moest ook bijvoorbeeld mijn
binnenband en buitenband vervangen
remmen remblokjes vervangen is ook niet heel moeilijk
maar ik heb nu remschijven en mijn achterrem
staat niet heel strak dus hij remt niet zo goed
dat is een beetje gevaarlijk dus
maar ik weet niet hoe je dit moet doen
strakker moet zetten want het werkt met olie en
ja er zitten wat
meer stappen tussen dus dat ga ik wel laten doen

draag jij altijd een
reparatie kit bij je als je voor je banden
als je op pad
gaat of niet nee maar dat is een goed punt dat is
ja want wat je kan doen is onder je zadel kan je
een zakje zetten met met een extra binnenband
of gewoon
een plak kit zeg maar met ja lijm en zo ja
sommige fietsen hebben daar inderdaad zo een applicatie
voor waar
waar gewoon een standaard een reparatiedoosje in zit
ja vond ik altijd heel heel bijzonder eigenlijk maar ja
ja het is eigenlijk goed om dat te kunnen
ja ik had dat
een paar jaar geleden ik was in in Malaga
we hadden daar mountainbikes gehuurd en zijn in een park
gaan mountainbiken
gaan fietsen
Berg afwaard en op een gegeven moment hoor ik pak
en ja mijn band was lek
en dan ben je wel blij dat je een reparatie
kit bij je hebt als je nog
een uur moet terugfietsen zeg maar
dus anders wordt dat een beetje vervelend

je kan bijna overal fietsenwinkels vinden natuurlijk
dus dat is vaak geen probleem
maar in andere landen waar fietsen niet zo populair is
is dat wat moeilijker

heb je een vaste
fietsenmaker waar je naartoe gaat of

een vriend van me die heeft heeft het
heeft gezegd dat hij het kan repareren
die is goed met fietsen
dus dat is altijd
fijn om te hebben

is wel leuker om een
om vaste
fietsenmaker te hebben die je ook een beetje vertrouwt
want ik denk ook
ja er zijn
ik heb veel fietsenmakers meegemaakt die
en heel veel geld vragen voor reparaties
om of die bijvoorbeeld een een fiets verkopen
waarvan ik denk ja
dit is een hele slechte fiets
maar die wordt verkocht aan
touristen of aan
internationale
mensen die net in Nederland zijn en niet echt een idee
hebben van hoeveel het zou moeten kosten
dus ja pas op ja
precies ja
het is altijd goed om een vast
adresje te hebben voor je auto
over de garage
voor ja allerlei verschillende afspraken die je vaker
hebt de de kapper bijvoorbeeld
ook is altijd fijn om
iemand ook beter te leren
Kennen als je er toch vaker naartoe gaat
ja ja en ook voor je Nederlands te oefenen natuurlijk
en dat kun je met ons in de lessen
oefenen zodat je niet
te veel moet betalen voor de reparatie of voor je fiets
en ook als je vragen hebt over de onderdelen
van je fiets wat zijn de namen van alle
dingen waar je gebruik van maakt
dus daar kunnen we over praten tijdens de lessen
over praten
en iedereen over voorbereiden op voorbereiden
over de interactie met de fietsenmaker
ja en ik ben daarnaast ook weer benieuwd
naar ja hebben mensen een fiets?
woon je in Nederland heb je een fiets
heb je misschien ook 2 fietsen een
stationsfiets erbij
wat zijn andere dingen die we hebben besproken
