cats of a colleague in Amsterdam East

dit weekend helaas iets minder mooi weer
het is jammer want ja dit weekend ga ik een
een weekendje weg met mijn familie
naar een huisje
in het bos in De Veluwe
het is een hele mooie plek
maar natuurlijk extra mooi als de zon schijnt
en het is lekker weer
dus dat is een een beetje jammer
maar goed het is wat het is
ja precies voor mij hetzelfde
het is nu een lang weekend
en na deze werkdag vandaag rij ik ook naar
De Veluwe maar meer in het noorden denk ik
richting zwolle
en het is nog een verrassing
dus ik weet niet waar ik heen ga
ik heb het adres nog niet gekregen
maar hopelijk
ja is er
is er niet teveel regen en hebben we toch een leuke tijd
in dit lange weekend
ja volgens mij is zaterdag een mooie dag
maar ja zondag en maandag iets minder maar goed
ja we gaan het zien
we hebben een binnen zwembad en een buiten zwembad
dus als we niet naar de stad kunnen of naar het bos
kunnen we altijd nog daar blijven

het is
een moeilijke vraag want het verandert een beetje elke keer
ik denk er zijn veel steden
die allemaal iets leuks hebben
die net een beetje anders zijn
en die leuk zijn om te bezoeken
ik woon in Amsterdam
en ja Amsterdam is een superleuke stad
er is heel veel te doen en
maar het is ook heel populair
en misschien een beetje te populair
dus ja
zelf vind ik bijvoorbeeld het centrum van Amsterdam
vreselijk
ja en en veel mensen die in in Amsterdam wonen
die vermijden
het centrum ook een beetje
maar daar omheen zijn heel veel leuke
wijken en leuke plekken ja dus
ja ik hou ook echt van Amsterdam
maar ik kan me niet voorstellen
hoe het is om daar te wonen
als ik daar ben
voel ik altijd alsof ik echt op vakantie ben
in een wereldstad
het is zo een grote stad
en er is veel te zien en te doen
en je maakt altijd wel wat nieuws mee
denk ik als je naar Amsterdam gaat
dus voor mij voelt het wel op als vakantie in Amsterdam
hmm ja ja toevallig reed ik gister Amsterdam
binnen terug naar Amsterdam
en toen bedacht ik me
hoe keek ik vroeger naar Amsterdam vergeleken met nu
nu is het mijn
woonstad de de de stad waar ik woon
maar vroeger had ik ook een ander idee
bij een gevoel bij Amsterdam
ook een soort
ja bijna een soort mini vakantie ervaring naar een
een plek die toch anders is dan de meeste
andere plekken in Nederland
ja ja en er zijn zoveel musea om te bezoeken
en zoveel parken
en bij winkelstraten om te shoppen
en er worden ook veel
ja feesten georganiseerd natuurlijk
buiten en binnen
dus er is gewoon heel veel te doen denk ik
dat maakt het voor mij ook een leuke stad om te bezoeken
en het is ook een oude stad
dit jaar 750 jaar
dus dat betekent dat er extra activiteiten zijn om
ja de stad beter te leren Kennen
en dat is denk ik ook heel leuk
om dit jaar speciaal naar de stad te gaan
ja ja
hoe vaak ga jij naar Amsterdam in het jaar ongeveer
ik zou wel wat
vaker willen gaan
en elke keer als ik daar dus ben zeg ik
dat maar vaak voor een festival of een concert
dan probeer ik het te combineren
met een dagje naar de stad
of een avondje uit
maar ik denk misschien 4 keer
en ja natuurlijk ook als we speed dutching hebben
in Amsterdam
dan probeer ik ook wat eerder naar de stad te komen
om eerst in de stad te zijn en daarna
bij het evenement
met met de going dutchies te praten
ja ja ik
ik weet even niet precies wanneer
deze gepost zal worden
maar op 30 Mei
hebben we waarschijnlijk ook een
koffie zondag koffie in in Amsterdam
voor iedereen die een koffietje Wil drinken en
gezellig Nederlands wil oefenen met ons
ja dus maar als mensen benieuwd zijn naar
evenementen die we hebben
dan kunnen ze altijd naar de website
en dan specifiek naar de events pagina
daar vind je de
de komende evenementen
altijd en daar kan je je ook aanmelden ervoor
even tussendoor
ja tuurlijk is het gelijk een kans om ook een
een uitje naar Amsterdam te plannen
naast Going Dutch te ontmoeten in real life
in het echt precies
en in Amsterdam
wat is jouw favoriete plek of wijk
hmm ik ik begin altijd in het centrum
daar kom ik aan
vaak neem ik de trein
want dat is gewoon makkelijker
om daar naartoe te gaan op die manier
vanuit Rotterdam
en dan vanuit het centrum loop ik dan naar
misschien de dam
even die standaard locaties
en dan misschien richting het Vondelpark
en het zijn wel de standaard plekken
maar toen ik bijvoorbeeld een museumjaarkaart had
toen had ik ook de kans om op katten
te passen van een collega in Amsterdam Oost
en toen sliep ik een weekje in
in Amsterdam en toen heb ik eigenlijk
veel meer kunnen ontdekken
door gewoon naar verschillende musea te gaan elke dag
dus het museumpark
ja van Gogh museum Rembrandt
natuurlijk bekijken in het Rijksmuseum
dat soort dingen zijn er allemaal wel te doen
ook het grote museum vond ik leuk volgens mij
het was een museum van Artis
dat heel interactief is
eigenlijk een beetje zoals Nemo
voor kinderen dat super interactief is
maar dan voor volwassenen
dat vond ik heel leuk daar
en ook een de bioscoop
wat is de naam van de mooie bioscoop Tuschinski
Tuschinski ja
dat is ook wel een aanrader om daar een keer een film te kijken
en het is gewoon een paté
dus je kunt daar heel makkelijk een ticket kopen en
de film bekijken
dus ja dat was voor mij heel leuk om te doen daar
ja precies en voor jou
voelt dat voor jou als een
toeristische
activiteit of zou je dat ook doen als je daar woont
nou ik denk de
de stad ontdekken door middel van musea is
een goed goed idee altijd
omdat je zo ook naar wat andere
plekken zal gaan
in Noord zitten ook wat musea
in verschillende wijken natuurlijk
voornamelijk in het centrum
maar ja ik ik denk als je te vaak in het centrum komt
dat je een beetje gek wordt van de
de mensen massa zeg maar dus vooral het stuk
vanaf centraal station
tot de dam
is eigenlijk een file aan mensen meestal
daar langs
en natuurlijk ook bij de nieuwe markt en de wallen
en die plekken zijn
heel druk ja
maar
af en toe vind ik het wel leuk om daar naartoe te gaan
om gewoon een beetje door de stad te lopen
maar wel met een een doel of met een limit
en ja daarnaast
woon ik zelf in West
maar ik vind oost ook een hele leuke
wijk en ja met mooie architectuur
het is wat rustiger
dus ja er zijn veel leuke leuke plekken denk ik
ja ja
dus ik heb een beetje een een haat liefde relatie met
de stad met Amsterdam
ja dat kan ik me voorstellen
en zelf uit welke stad kom je zelf
ik kom uit Zoetermeer
het is een
ja ik zou zeggen een kleine stad maar
als je kijkt naar de
de 10 grootste steden van Nederland
volgens mij zit Zoetermeer in de
op op nummer 10 of nummer 11 of zo
dus het is bijvoorbeeld groter dan
leiden er zijn meer inwoners
maar ja het is veel minder bekend dan een stad als leiden
natuurlijk omdat er geen universiteit is
ja niet zo helemaal niet internationaal
maar het wordt leisure City genoemd dus je kan veel
leuke dingen doen je hebt
zilver dome een grote schaats ring
je hebt het heette vroeger Dutch water dreams
ik weet niet precies wat het nu heet
maar een wild waterbaan of
indoor surfen
en je hebt natuurlijk snow world ook
oh ja dus ja de de Nederlandse alpen
ja precies
en waar kom jij vandaan
ik kom uit Schiedam
en net als Amsterdam is dat
dit jaar ook 750 jaar geleden
dat deze stad is ontstaan opgericht
dus ik ben een trotse schiedammer zou ik zeggen
en ik raad iedereen aan om daar een keertje
naartoe te gaan
want het is heel dichtbij Rotterdam
en maar het heeft ook nog heel veel
oude historische gebouwen in het
en het heeft ook de hoogste molens van de wereld
dus dat is
sowieso ook leuk om te zien
en daar kun je ook naar binnen
en zijn
er is een museum bijvoorbeeld
en het is ook echt de jenever stad
dus we hebben heel veel
geschiedenis rondom jenever
en ik heb al contact gehad met het jenever
museum om een keer een excursie te doen daar met de
studenten van going Dutch
dus mochten jullie daarin geïnteresseerd zijn
laat het weten
dan kunnen we misschien iets
opzetten
leuk ja precies
dan kunnen mensen daar wat kopstootjes drinken
ja ik weet niet of het
of het heel erg in de smaak zal vallen maar
het is een heel sterk drankje
ja precies een kopstootje is een
glas bier en een shot jenever erbij toch
tegelijkertijd drink je dat ja of inderdaad erin
of het daarnaast
ik weet het even niet ja maar heel sterk
ja precies
leuk ja en ja natuurlijk Rotterdam
daar woon ik nu
en het voelde
eigenlijk altijd wel al alsof ik ook in Rotterdam
woonde omdat het zo dichtbij is
dus het voelt niet als een plek
waar ik tourist zal zijn of tourist kan uithangen
maar het ook in Rotterdam
vind ik dat er wel veel dingen te doen zijn
wat vind jij van Rotterdam
ja ik kom niet zo vaak in Rotterdam
dus misschien heb ik hetzelfde
gevoel in Rotterdam wat jij in Amsterdam hebt
dat ik ook wat meer de
langs de toeristische plekken ga zeg maar dus
naar de kubuswoningen
naar de Markthal
ja langs de Maas
de oude haven heet het volgens mij ook ja een stukje
daar was ik laatst
dus ja ik ik Ken Rotterdam niet zo goed eigenlijk
ik kom een paar
paar keer of ja misschien 2 keer per jaar of zo naar
naar Rotterdam
dus ja en en ik ben een
Feyenoord fan
dus af en toe naar het Feyenoord stadion om voetbal te
kijken dus mijn mijn
ja mijn connectie met Rotterdam zit
in mijn hart voor voetbal
maar voor de rest niet echt fysiek
omdat ik vaak naar de stad ga
ja
dat is het belangrijkste misschien wel dus dat is oké
ja precies dus Rotterdam wordt gezien als de havenstad
maar ik denk dat
voetbal ook heel erg leeft in die stad en dat het een
belangrijk onderdeel is van de Rotterdamse identiteit
een beetje
ja ja zeker
dus ja er zijn natuurlijk
veel nog vele andere steden en plekken in Nederland
Uhm
speel jij vaak toerist in eigen land
ga je vaak naar
andere plekken door Nederland heen
nee het valt dus wel mee als ik een vrije
tegenwoordig als ik een vrij moment heb of een vrij weekend
neem ik liever de rust om
niet iets te plannen om te gaan doen
maar ja want ik dacht altijd als ik ouder ben en
een gezin heb misschien
dan wil ik heel Nederland ontdekken en
in Nederland op vakantie gaan
en nu probeer ik als ik een keer weer vrij ben dus meteen
naar een ander land te gaan
maar toevallig dus dit
ja dit weekend gaan we een
plekje bezoeken dus ik ben benieuwd hoe dat zal zijn
en daar ja ga ik wel graag naar de natuur
dus buiten de Randstad
probeer ik dan wel naartoe te gaan
ja ja precies dus je ontsnapt
Nederland liever als je wat langer de tijd hebt dan
dat je in eigen land op vakantie gaat of zo
ja en ik met met de zomerschool gaan we naar Texel
en dat zal ook voor mij
de eerste keer zijn om naar de Waddeneilanden te gaan
dus daar kijk ik wel heel erg naar uit
omdat ik echt van eilanden hou
om eilanden te bezoeken
ben ik heel benieuwd naar hoe de
ja hoe de sfeer is op een Nederlands eiland
ja dus ja ik ben echt benieuwd
ja ongelooflijk dat je nog nooit op een
waddeneiland bent geweest
nee ja
ik ga graag naar het strand ook in
Rotterdam hebben we Hoek van Holland en Scheveningen
in Den Haag
ja maar ook bij bijvoorbeeld Bloemendaal
bij Amsterdam of in het noorden vind ik
er zijn ook wel leuke plekken
maar daar kom ik eigenlijk niet vaak
ja dus het is meer de kust
voor mij waar ik naartoe ga als ik
een dagje uit ga
maar dat voelt niet echt als een
toerist zijn of toerist uithangen
ja Uhm
maar een stedentripje of een dagje uit in de stad
vind ik eigenlijk ook wel heel leuk
in Nederland ja zeker
ja ja ja ja ik doe het graag Uhm
toerist spelen in eigen land
maar eigenlijk ook pas
sinds 2 jaar of 3 jaar dat ik het wat meer doe
daarvoor ook liever naar andere landen
maar ik begin
uh
veel plekken in Nederland steeds meer te waarderen ook
dus ja
afgelopen weekend was ik in Alkmaar
bijvoorbeeld en nou daar kom ik ook graag
het is een leuk stadje
en
in principe is dan
de meeste gebieden langs de kust
in Nederland een beetje vergelijkbaar
dus als je in Haarlem zit je hebt Bloemendaal en dan
heb je
Noordwijk aan zee
je een beetje vergelijkbare natuur ook daar
en hetzelfde heb je rond Den Haag of wassenaar
ook bij bij Leiden natuurlijk
en bij Rotterdam zal dat ook wel een beetje zijn
ja dus
in principe is ook maar vergelijkbaar
en als als de andere gebieden langs de kust
maar ja het is
ik vind het leuk om
om met de trein ergens naartoe te gaan
om de fiets mee te nemen
en een stukje te fietsen
in die regio
het is een leuke manier om het land een beetje te ontdekken
ja dat heb ik
vorig jaar ook gedaan in
Limburg in
bij Maastricht
we zijn met de trein
met de fiets in de trein naar Maastricht gegaan
en daar eigenlijk een stukje rond gefietst
het heet het heuvelland
dus ja het zijn De Bergen van Nederland
het hoogste punt van Nederland is daar
en dat is 322 en een halve meter dus jeej
niet de meeste indrukwekkende berg
maar vaalserberg ja ja de vaalserberg inderdaad
maar ja het is het is wel een een
leuke regio
met een beetje glooiend landschap
je hebt wat wijngaarden dus ook daar
we noemen het een beetje bourgondische levensstijl
met lekker eten en
ja goed om even te vertoeven
Uhm
maar er zijn nog genoeg andere
mooie regio's dus
bijvoorbeeld Drenthe ik denk niet zoveel mensen gaan
naar Drenthe maar er zijn veel bossen daar dus
leuk om te wandelen of als je een hond hebt
Uhm
er zijn ook de hunebedden daar
dat is een ja meer historische plek
dus dat zijn oude graf graven ook of
van ik weet niet precies hoelang geleden maar
je kan het opzoeken Hunnebedden ja
en ja waar ga ik nog meer vaak naartoe
ik ik heb een tijdje in Wageningen gewoond
dus daar in het in dat gebied daar heb ik ook
veel rond gefietst en ja is ook altijd
een mooie regio
denk ik ja
ja het leuke vind ik aan alle plekken
dat er overal wel ook water is
dus je hebt rivieren
en dat is alles wat met elkaar in ja
in verbinding ligt
in Nederland
dus om een mooie zonsondergang te zien kun je
naar een naar het water gaan en daar lekker zitten
en ja
dat is voor mij ook het leuke aan die steden
bijvoorbeeld in Arnhem kan je dat ook goed doen
in Nijmegen ja die kant ook ja ja en dat
is ook het mooiste langs de kust denk ik in de avond
zeker een beetje aan het einde van de lente
als het weer mooi begint te worden in de zomer
om de hele avond
aan het strand te zitten en de
de zon te zien verdwijnen in de zee
ja ja
het is fijn dat we nu sinds kort ook een metroverbinding
hebben die helemaal
tot aan het strand gaat
dus als je in Rotterdam bent kun je de metro
naar het strand nemen naar Hoek van Holland
en dat is echt super
dat voelt echt als vakantie om dan aan te komen
en je ziet meteen de zee
ja vanuit het met wanneer je uitcheckt
en dat sowieso met de trein ook
je kan heel makkelijk reizen in Nederland
er zijn verschillende wandelroutes
gemaakt vanuit de NS bijvoorbeeld
om die te wandelen
en dan weer de trein terug te pakken
ergens anders naartoe
op die manier is het wel heel makkelijk om Uhm
toerist in Nederland uit te hangen
denk ik zeker
ja leuk
ja en als
mensen wat tips hebben voor
leuke plekken in Nederland
of in hun eigen land
dan kunnen ze dat delen
en misschien ook een een suggestie voor een een excursie
of een evenement
als een leuke locatie
daar staan we altijd open voor voor ideeën dus
ik ben heel benieuwd
en ook
waar mijn verrassingsuitje vandaag naartoe gaat
we hebben dus een meiden
weekend en elk jaar organiseert een van ons
of 2 van ons waar we naartoe gaan
dus ik zal jullie laten weten wat dat
uiteindelijk is geworden
is goed we gaan het
we gaan het horen volgende week
in ieder geval veel plezier met je lange weekend
